Assessors’ Field Review Beginning 9/11/2024

Beginning 9/11/2024, the Assessors’ Office will be conducting a field review of all improved properties in Wendell. Improved properties include those with any structure (barns, garages, sheds, etc), not just residences. Because of Wendell’s rural setting, it may be necessary to enter driveways to update exterior photos if structures are not visible from the street. Only exterior data collection will occur during this time – inspectors will not ask to enter any residence. All vehicles used will be labeled and all inspectors will have identification. The Wendell Town Offices are aware of this field review, as is the Leverett Police Department, who provides coverage for Wendell.
