Conservation Commission
About
The Wendell Conservation Commission is a three-member board established to administer the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act (MGL Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Town of Wendell General Wetlands Protection Bylaw along with the associated Wendell Wetland Bylaw Regulations. The Commission also collaborates with various town departments and boards on both wetland and conservation issues. Wetlands are protected because they play a vital role in serving the following public interests:
- Protection of public and private water supply
- Protection of groundwater supply
- Flood control
- Storm damage prevention
- Prevention of pollution
- Protection of fisheries
- Protection of wildlife habitat

Meeting Schedule
The Conservation Commission meets remotely on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. unless another day, time or venue is noted in an individual month's legal posting. The Commission may be contacted at concom@wendellmass.us.
