Dogs in Wendell
All dogs residing in Wendell need to have current rabies vaccines and yearly licenses.
A license costs
- $4 for any spayed or neutered dog
- $8 for any intact dog
- FREE for any resident (human) over the age of 70 or for a service animal as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Please renew your dogs license by March 31st of each year to keep everyone happy and legal.
All dogs in Wendell must be “kept from running at large“. In common speak, this means please have your dog under control and leashed when outside your house or fenced yard.
Should a dog be found running at large, the police and dog officer will do their best to reunite the dog with their owner. To help everyone, please license your dog every year and make sure the tag is on their collar.
