Fall Frolics at the Library

  • 1 p.m.-Making Colorful Shadow Puppets: Workshop with Sally Alley Muffin Stuffin. 1:00-2:00. 15 spots. Registration required.
  • 2 p.m. Grand Opening of the Adventure Trail: Snacks, Social and Playtime. Cider and Donuts from New Salem Preserves.We are inviting all ages to come to the ribbon cutting of the Library Grounds new Adventure Trail, an obstacle course for all ages to challenge their balance. Learn more about this special project and enjoy time to play and celebrate with cider and donuts from New Salem Preserves.
  • 3 p.m. Davis Bates presents A Halloween Harvest.

    Traditional songs and tales of harvest and supernatural, sea songs, chanteys, true ghost stories and family tales. There will also be plenty of sing-alongs, a short lesson in how to play music with spoons from a kitchen drawer, and an appearance by an Irish dancing wooden dog named Bingo. This program is possible in part due to a grant from the Wendell Cultural Council, a local agency funded by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.”, and the support of the Friends of the Wendell Free Library.
