The selectboard is the executive arm of the government, as is common for most New England towns in the United States. Wendell's Selectboard consists of three members, with staggered 3-year terms. Three is the most common number in New England, historically.

Meetings
The Selectboard meets at 7pm on Wednesday every two weeks at the Town Offices. Videoconference access is also available. Login info for the videoconference is available on the meeting agenda at least 48 hours before the meeting takes place.
