The Herrick Room at the Wendell Free Library will be open on an as needed basis during the current heat wave. There is water and internet access in the Herrick Room, the rest of the library will be closed, except during normal library hours of 1-5pm on Friday. (The library is closed this Wednesday June 19th in observance of the holiday, Juneteenth.
Call (413)345-8307 to request access between 2-7pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
A list of volunteers is being compiled to staff the Herrick room during extreme heat waves. Please share this information with any Wendell residents who may not access the internet.
